I am signing off now as it is 0340 here in UK
It will take sometime to have a look at everything you have and see if I can gain some idea of what may have put these in the Recycle bin.
I would think that RESTORE from the recycle bin MAY produce some result, BUT pls do NOT try that.
I think the prime task is to identify the files.
To that end would you pls do a search for those files - on settings files and folders - entering those details from the two files separately and as All or part of the file name, Please include hidden files and folders in the search and on C drive.
My reasoning is that apart from the files in the recycle bin there may be copies of them elsewhere.
Can you place a cleanup - uninstall - delete by yourself at the time this problem appeared.

Quite separate from that but readily seen from your HiJack you have these installed
Registry Clean Expert
Registry Mechanic 8.0
Our advice on Geeks to Go is to keep well away from such programs. Many of these registry cleaners will find errors on a brand new computer. They are not errors of course but simply entries that at best the program has decided are errors and at worst in the case of some registry cleaners offered is simply to frighten the user of the free program into buying the paid for version. I am not suggesting that either of these are of the latter sort, but any program that purports to clean your registry -, defrag it etc is unwanted.
Please see the link in my signature notes for the opinion of an expert and the view of this site - GeekstoGo.

Additional to the above you have these installed
LiveShare P2P Server 9
C:\Program Files\uTorrent\uTorrent.exe

I do not at this time suggest that these are the cause of the problem, but P2P and other torrented downloads are with VERY few exceptions a prime way of testing your anti-virus to the limit..

Finally for the time being I ntoice you have ESET, Zone alarm, Spybot, SAS, Windows Defender and MBAM installed.
Would you please ensure that you have running ONLY one anti-virus, ONE spyware IF the anti-virus does not include such and ONE firewall as two of ANY of these can produce all sorts of unwanted results, besides slowing everything down, they can actually negate each other and lessen your protection instead of as some people think improving it.

I will post about 1900hrs UK time when I have had chance to look further at the situation.

In addition to the above, by that I mean my post, have you created any virtual drives.
If you do not know what I mean I think we can presume no.
Basically it is a drive that exists only whilst the computer is switched on.
unless you alter the registry.
Basically you create the drive with a cmd "subst etc."
etc is not actually used that is just to guide you if you may have done.

The reason I ask is that files can become named Df28 indicating the 28th file deleted on a partition.

What is D drive on your computer. It is frequently the optical drive - but not always so.

In answer to your questions:

I have two optical drives (D and E). I have a data drive (Z) which consists of two separate drives configured in RAID 0. I also have an external data drive (F). I don't have any virtual drives.

I only run ONE firewall, ONE antivirus and ONE antispyware program. The other such programs I have installed are used to run periodic scans only.

Here is the HJT Startup list.

If I am not mistaken and I will await clarification - those files are from Z drive and F drive.

DO NOT OPEN THE RECYCLE BIN right click and click properties. Check that those drives are included in the recycle bin. - I am certain they will be unless someone has been in the registry
Now go to those two drives - enable view of the hidden files and protected operating system files and on the root of those drives you will see the recycler as you did on c drive.
Now check if those files are in the respective bins that I have indicated.

Also IF I am correct and regarding my earlier post it is no use searching for those files as I suggested as they have been allocated simple numbers from a delete process.- therefore Dz20 is not a filename but simply a file from Z drive and numbered 20.

OK, when I check properties for the Recycle Bin, both the F and Z drives are included.

When I check the Recycler for each of those drives (with hidden files/folders showing), they both contain the following folders:

S-1-5-21-299502267-789336058-725345543-500

S-1-5-21-299502267-789336058-725345543-1004

If I try to open them up, no files are shown.

After you have completed that and PLEASE wait for rshaffer61, as he asked for the other list , and he is very much the lead on this thread now he has joined it. That is only correct as he is the Moderator.

I recommend subject to his views that you should obtain from an expert in the Malware Forum a clean bill of health before we proceed.

Either the Moderator or myself will provide you with further guidance.

Please understand that we cannot advise on Malware matters in this forum and I AM NOT suggesting you are infected or indeed, neither am I saying you are NOT. If that sounds a little like hedging bets it is simply that we cannot offer any opinion on the matter.

Ok, I await further instructions. I will be away from my computer for a few hours (going out for dinner), but will check later this evening.

To answer post 22 delete any file, you can even create it first, anything will do.
Do not open the recycle bin.
Right click the icon and click empty recycle bin.

|Reboot the machine, does it still show as containing files.

1. Followed instructions per Post #25. Bin still shows files in it.

2. Had Norton about 3 years ago. Used Norton Removal Tool to uninstall. Don't have NPROTECT file on computer.

3. Checked kellys-korner. Not sure which fix to try.

Not sure whose instructions I should be following. The last three posts were from three different people (I appreciate the help), but not sure if I am being asked to do conflicting things.
