Welcome to Geeks2Go!

Do you still have "Send to Desktop" for files in Windows Explorer?

If yes, then the one you used to have in Favorites in IE has probably been removed either by an update to IE or a service pack installation.
I don't have it in my Favorites in IE either, but if you open your Favourites folder in Windows Explorer the "Send to Desktop" is still available
when you right-click an item inside that folder.
