When I play music from iTunes or any other application on my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop the sound just comes out to be horrible. The beats are not clear etc. and I have installed the latest drivers. Does anyone else have the same problem?

External Interface microphone-in
connector, stereo
headphones/speakers
connector
Speaker two 4-ohm speakers
Capacities 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB,
and 4 GB
The above is from your Dell user guide
Try a pair of external speakers. They are so much better for music.
Also that Inspiron was I think provided orignally with just 512Mb ram,
What do you have.
Go start, right click My Computer or Computer if Vista. Click Porperties
On the window that opens please post the processor details - speed that wil be in Mhz or Ghz and ram that will be Mb or Gb
