My 9 yr. old Vaio works great except in Facebook. I have the newest flash player and still when I click to do anything, in any game, it takes up to 30 seconds to respond and accomplish the action. What is this about? The only other slowness is when it is booting, that takes up to a minute sometimes....very annoying! Help!

use msconfig... in the startup tab unselect everthing except your AV and firewall if you have one ...if its a laptop leave Synaptics checked or your touchpad will not work...
you get there by clicking on start...then run...type in msconfig...press enter
do as advised then reboot and see if it helps
