Sorry guys but I am pretty new in computer stuff and have faced this problem. I have a laptop(Acer Aspire) with VGA output jack and I want to connect it to a TV that does not have the same plug what kind of cable I should use and what should I do for audio?
Does it also need any software?
Please help to solve this problem

And depending on what sort of input your TV has, you might need an adapter. I.e. if the converter box has s-video and VGA output and you want RCA, then you would need an S-video or VGA to RCA adapter.

However, if your TV has VGA input, you dont need a converter -- only a cable to connect the two.
