I made a form in Excel.

I have 2 lists in sheet 2, one called UNIT, the other Account.

The UNIT and their Account are on the same row.

On the form I made a drop down field to enter the Unit. It works.

I would like to have the Account for the Unit filled in the Account field on the form when the Unit is selected from the drop down menu.

How do I do this?

Please email me your answers.

Yeah, that's correct. The UNIT and Account are in 2 different list on SHEET 2.

UNIT Col "A", Account Col "C"

Their are 380 Units ( Rows ) with its Account number on the same row but in Col "C"

The drop down box is cell B5.

I want the Account number for the selected unit to appear in cell B6.

I found out how at www.mrexcel.com.

=INDEX(Sheet2!A1:C380,MATCH(B5,UNIT),3)

This works but if nothing has been entered in B5, it displays "#N/A" in B6.

Anyone have the fix?

Thanks
