360/Ps3 on a dvi monitor

Hi guys I'm new so I wasn't sure where to post this I was wondering if you could help me with my problem.

I have a 30 inch Dell monitor that's a dvi and I was wondering if it were possible to hook it up to the monitor. There are no HD inputs on the monitor.

I saw a 360 to VGA cord and I was wondering I got that and a dvi adapter if that would work? Same idea for ps3.

Thanks those who can Gives me some ideas. I have a way to get sound already.
