Hey. I'm trying to install 'Lord of the Rings: The battle for middle earth 2' and I am being told that my graphics card is not supported. I've checked, and I know that it is supported. The problem is I have no dedicated graphics memory for some reason. Is this the graphics card or is it a fault? Because everything I've been able to find tells me that I should have 128 MB of memory, but yet run->dxdiag tells me I haven't got any at all.

Hello,

Have you installed the latest drivers for your graphics card?

I thought I had, but when I pressed "update driver" on device manager, the little exclamation mark came up telling me something was wrong. Then, when i pressed "roll back driver" it tells me I need a disk I do not have :/

Well you have the Radeon 9200 SE card installed, or the drivers for it at least. In fact if they are the wrong drivers that could be the problem. Are you able to physically check inside and confirm what graphics card you have?

Then you can download the latest available drivers direct from the website, no disc needed here.

Cheers

I've checked, and I definitely have Radeon 9200 SE installed. And also, it should definitely have 128 mb memory. The little yellow exclamation mark has also appeared next to my motherboard, I don't know whats happened there.

OK, I've reinstalled the drivers from my original drivers disk (it had a different name to the one i was being asked to use) and it's meant that all the devices are working fine according to the device manager. But I still don't have any graphics memory, according to dxdiag. Just to make things even more confusing, according to system specs i do have 128 mb of memory.

Ok, I've reinstalled something which I had tried before I even wrote this thread, and didn't work, but this time it's worked. I don't have a clue what happened there. Thanks anyway :D
