Hi Guy's

I'm still looking to connect my consoles to my DVI monitor but since it doesn't have a HDMI port will this work?

If I buy this

http://www.amazon.co...02379251&sr=8-1

And get an adapter like this

http://www.amazon.co...adapter&x=0&y=0

Will it work?

From the topic you started at the Software > Games forum on the 8th of April;

Hi guys I'm new so I wasn't sure where to post this I was wondering if you could help me with my problem.

I have a 30 inch Dell monitor that's a dvi and I was wondering if it were possible to hook it up to the monitor.

What monitor?

There are no HD inputs on the monitor.

Again what monitor?

I saw a 360 to VGA cord and I was wondering I got that and a dvi adapter if that would work? Same idea for ps3.

Cannot say without knowing what you intend connecting to!

Thanks those who can Gives me some ideas. I have a way to get sound already.

6ft Premium VGA Cable w/ Digital Optical Audio Port for Microsoft Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 Slim to TV equipment

Obviously this particular lead will only be compatible with the above but as it already has a DVI connection on the end (not HD) you will not need the adapter you have asked about below.

And get an adapter like this

Not required.

Will it work?
Until you clarify what you are asking we cannot say for sure.

The cord did in fact work, sorry for the duplicates by the way, thanks for the reply. Al though now I'm having trouble with my PS3 getting it on my LCD 1080p monitor, I may have to send it for repair because it was working fine last week.
