Fn key + num lock

My computer needs pressing Num lock key to enable num pad, while in previous Dell computer i could type numbers while holding Fn key. Is there any way to make it so that I can just hold the Fn key to type numbers, instead of turning on NumLock every time?

Sadly, you told us absolutely nothing about this computer so we have absolutely nothing to go on for advice to you - except check your owner's manual.

What kind of information would be useful?

p.s. I've already checked the manual, but unfortunately couldn't find the solution.
