Attached File  hijackthis.log   15.17KB   180 downloads Whenever i try to access a web page or my yahoo email, i get this page cannot be displayed. i have ATT dsl connected by ethernet. I have run a virus and spyware scan and there is nothing there. I used Hijackthis software and here is the log. Can you tell me what might be wrong here? Thanks in advance for your help

Hello ctmaleus,

Based on the log file you provided from HiJackThis and symptoms you specified I can certainly say that your system is infected. First, you need to do is read the instructions on this topic here. Thanks to the information you will provide, malware experts can detect and clean malware from your system. If you do not get any response on your question happen within three days, please follow the instructions on this topic: Not getting help?.

Just to clarify lantahov's instructions here is the full instructions you need to follow.

I suspect that you have some malware on your computer causing issues that we are not able to solve through means we can use here in the Tech Forums. I suggest you read the 'Start Here' topic found here. With these self-help tools you have a high chance of fixing the problems on your own. If you are still having problems after following Step 3 of the guide, continue with Step 4 and 5 and post in the Malware Forum. If you are unable to run any programs, Please create a topic stating what you have tried so far and that you are unable to run any programs. Also, Please do NOT post the logs in this thread.

If you are still having issues after the malware expert gives you a clean bill of health, Please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
