I am unable to access the internet in Normal mode but am able to get online in Safe Mode. Booting normally, I am able to ping and I do get an IP address, but Internet Explorer and Firefox fail to connect. I have tried using program like Hitman Pro, Malwarebytes, ComboFix, and a few other repair programs like Fix IE, and WinsockXPFix but I am still unable to access the internet. Please help!

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Follow the prompts to restore you computer to a time before the problem occurred.

After that

Please download MBRCheck.exe to your Desktop. Run the application.

If no infection is found, it will produce a report on the desktop. Post that report in your next reply.

If an infection is found, you will be presented with the following dialog:

Enter 'Y' and hit ENTER for more options, or 'N' to exit:

Type N and press Enter. A report will be produced on the desktop. Post that report in your next reply and tell me how you went with the System Restore.
