No sooner did I get the virus off my work pc thanks to GeekstoGo, then my laptop began acting strange... I use both Mozilla and ie, but just today I started getting a strange error message on internet explorer that renders it useless every time I try to use it. I recently updated to ie8 and all seemed fine. Tonight I tried uninstalling IE and found out that it's like peeling an onion, you have to uninstall each updated version... oy vey! So after do that several times, I just downloaded IE 8 again and the same error message keeps coming up, making it so I have to hit ctrl, alt, delete to bring up that window where I can stop the process for the program, or end the task. That's the only way to get out of IE when that happens...which is all the time now. I've run scans with both Avast and Mbam, even in safe mode too, and both came up with nothing. I also ran an SAS scan, and that found 111 adware items which were removed successfully. My OS is XP and my laptop is a Toshiba Satellite. Thanks for your fantastic help...
