Hello could you please maybe help me, My problem is my web cam seems to for some reason blow my sound out, when i bring the cam up it seems fine, but when i go into a program like yahoo, or any web cam cababilities. it will shut my sound off, it is a new logetic 4800

Are you sure the model number is correct? I tried researching this issue for you, but can't find any information, even at the Logitech site, for a web cam model number 4800. They did, however, have a model 4000. I notice this particular camera, like most others these days, will record video. Check the volume settings from inside the software provided for editing the web cams videos. I hope this points you in the right direction.
