I am helping a friend fix a recent infection by a nasty little malicious fake AV that was clicked by accident. It has dodged all attempts by AVG to catch it but windows has limited its damage for now. All browsers have been hijacked and even the task manager had been disabled for awhile.
Currently the computer is offline and enough control has been restored to run AVG and other programs, but parts of the virus remain that I can not track down. Any help would be appreciated

The Initial AVG alert contained this Information:

File Name: C:\Program Files\E-Set 2011\win.exe

Threat Name: May be infected by unknown virus Win32/DH.CAFF840181
Detected on open
Process Name: C:\windows\Explorer.exe
Process ID: 4176

It has been deleted from Program Files but there is still a component running somewhere. Windows has alerted on changes asking to be made by a msiexecs.exe program that were promptly denied. As of yet I have been unable to find or remove this last nasty bit.

System is a Acer Netbook Eee-pc, running Windows 7. AVG 9.0 is the currently installed Anti-Virus.

I will attach 2 GMER reports that AVG asked me to run.
Here is the Hijackthis report:
