I bought a Dell Optiplex GX620 off the internet. It has Windows XP. The problem is that it looks like it was donated by some business. It ask for a user name and password. Underneath it it has CORP. How would I go about deleting this and just start Windows as normal? Thanks...

Do you mean that you cannot access Windows, as you can only reach the logon screen with user name and password requirement.

Yes, I can only reach the user name and password.

I hope you will understand when I say that this site cannot help further at THIS stage.
One of your site rules is

  • Due to the nature of online help we are not able to verify ownership, and will not be able to help bypass or recover any user passwords, cd keys, license codes, serial numbers, etc.

I am sorry we cannot help. I can only suggest that you go back to the seller and ask them, how you are meant to use the computer.

I'm not sure what you mean by how I was meant to use the computer. I'm just trying to save from having to reformat this computer and start over, since it already has XP on it. Thanks...

What I mean is, if you cannot get into Windows, because it requires a password that you do not have, you cannot use the computer - can you?

The rest of my post, regretfully, stands as originally sent.

Our terms of use mean that we cannot asist with password matters.
