Hello Guys

I can't get my 5.1 audio to work. I have installed the latest drivers and reinstalled it several times, but didn't succeed.

I have a Intel DH67CL Motherboard and I am using the on-board sound (Realtec)

I have Windows XP Pro SP3 installed.

5.1 Speakers from Logitech

Does Windows XP SP3 support High Definition Audio? I read on some forum that Microsoft forget to add the High definition Audio in SP3. This doesn't make sense to me

If I run the Sound Manager from Realtec - Audio I/O and click on the back speakers, the sound is very soft at the back as well as the front speakers. If I click on the sub, nothing happens. If I click on the center, the sound is a bit louder and the front left and right seems to be OK

Your help will be appreciated...

Thanks

You might want to try this driver for Realtek High Definition Audio if your Realtek Audio is one of these

Realtek ALC 880
Realtek ALC 882
Realtek ALC 883
Realtek ALC 881
Realtek ALC 260
Realtek ALC 262
