Hey I currently have windows 7 on my laptop its a Toshiba satellite L305D
AMD Processor
4GB RAM

I just got a copy of windows vista™ so i decided I wanted to dual-boot it on to my system.
I have Dual-Booted systems before on the same computer and they always seems to finish installing and work fine.

While installing the Windows Vista™ everything seemed to be going fine but while it was installing it just froze out of nowhere.
I have read many people having this problem but can't find a solution.

I'm sure someone here at Geeks To Go might know whats going on??

So you don't have a current key?
Is the Installation disk original or a burned copy?

Yep most likely. In almost every case I have seen like this in the last 15 years the burned OS disks throws errors.
If you want to dual boot then I suggest purchasing a legal copy to make sure it works.
Also can I ask why you want Vista on as a dual boot?
Win7 is better and is actually what Vista was suppose to be. They are to much alike for me to justify a dual boot system with them.
Why not XP or even Linux?
Is there something on Win7 that doesn't work that will work on Vista like a program or some other software?

I would suggest purchasing a Genuine Vista Installation disk and I'm willing to bet you won't have the issue you are having with the pirated copy.
Unless there is a issue with your system the dual boot should setup with no problem. :)
