I started nuking my hard drive and it stoped at 74%. all it said was killed. Now I can enter the bios and set the boot order but it just will not boot up on the dvd drive to load windows 7. and I tried a usb flash drive with a new bios from acer and it won`t boot from that either so I could flash the bios in dos. This is a acer aspire 5100 laptop. It had XP home on it that where fat files and was polluted so I tried to reload it with win7 which is ntfs but it would not load so I tried nuking the hard drive and as you can see from what I wrote that did not work.
