Acer Aspire 1 Netbook Stuck after spyware attack

Hello, After My computer was attacked by spyware, My Acer Aspire one is stuck on the 'resuming windows screen' upon booting the computer up. Any and all help is truly appreciated :) My OS is Windows XP.
