Problem with explorer.exe

So I recently aquired a virus that caused random popups on my screen, and enlisted my friend for help. What he did, however, was accidentally delete explorer.exe. So now my screen is completely blank. It said that it went to the recycle bin, but I can't access it, seeing as I've just been going through task manager to open up files. Any help?
