My netbook just started doing this. I try to open mostly anything and it tells me about how I don't have any storage to process the command and what's called a code 8. I literally have Google Chrome and Skype open at almost any given time. Maaaybe I will have Word open too but it has never done this before. Some programs won't even give me a message and not open. Windows Explorer opens with an outline of the window without anything else. I can't do much of anything. In the mean time, I will run it in safe mode but I can't do much with this netbook.

I have an ASUS Eee PC with Windows 7 Starter. Let me know if you need more information.

What's your drive partitions? If your system partition is too small that might be the cause? I'm not too sure myself either. But if your system partition (usually C:\) is too small and you have subsequently installed your programs like Google Chrome and Skype in your C:\ drive then you are running on possibly a very limited system partition that may have caused your netbook to come up with errors like so.

You may want to defrag your hard disk too.

I can only start it in safe mode now. I think there is a problem that I'm not aware of.
