I've been having this problem for a while. I just when through an exhaustive and successful process to remove VX2 with Geekstogo support. I was hoping this would also clear up continued error running Spybot. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times from several official sites (download.com, etc.) and still end up with same error message. See below. I'm also attaching a HijackThis log is case this helps. Many thanks - Annette

Spybot log:

Error during check!: Unknown (Datei C:\Documents and Settings\Annette\Desktop\IMG_0846.JPG?(3MB)?.url kann nicht geöffnet werden. The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect) ()

Congratulations!: No immediate threats were found. ()

Hi Annette, reinstall Spybot and see if the error is still there. Uninstall it first and then restart. See if the Spybot folders are still there. If so, delete them. Then reinstall Spybot.

As far as the log is concerned, it's clean.
