Hi

I meant that is it okay to save 10$ and buy a 500watt PSu with UPs as money saved can be used for the APC UPS

(my english is bad so some of the posts well you may not understand)

As for the APC UPS goes it costs INR Rs 5600

The price increases if i buy a 500watt it costs lesser for UPS

The graphics card depends on what your mobo will accept. Can you repost the link from post 28 so i can take a look at the slots. The link in that post does not work.

Hi again The shopkeeper I went to insisted that I purchase a PSU from either VIP/Antec.

Never heard of VIP and can't say it is good or bad.
Antec is not a bad PSU but it depends on which model he is suggesting.

Your mobo has the following slots for video cards.
  • 2 PCI 2.3
  • 1 PCI-e x1
  • 1PCI-e x16

The last two enable you to get the newer cards. Now I would be very careful and make sure you have the correct connector from your present PSU or the new PSU to power the video card.

The following are links to the cards that will work in your system.
TigerDirect
NewEgg
Use these links as a reference to what you need. If you could supply a link to some place there you can buy from I will be happy to take a look and try to narrow the search down to only the acceptable video cards for your system. :)
