Yes it is caused either by crss or winlogon - lets see if OTL will replace the file for us

Run OTL
  • Under the Custom Scans/Fixes box at the bottom, paste in the following

    :Files
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\csrss.exe|C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download\cf8ec753e88561d2ddb53e183dc05c3e\csrss.exe /replace


    :Commands
    [CREATERESTOREPOINT]
    [Reboot]

  • Then click the Run Fix button at the top
  • Let the program run unhindered, reboot the PC when it is done
  • Open OTL again and click the Quick Scan button. Post the log it produces in your next reply.

hello

I tried the above method but got a access denied response. I downloaded a tool called bluescreenview off the web to read the .dmp file and here are the readings.

can You tell me what is it?
There is another tool to download called driver verifier. It is like the one built into the system I have not downloaded it yet If You know how to use it please give instruction

First lets try the MS fixit centre

Download and install from here

Once installed you will have this screen

Run the Diagnose and repair windows files and folders first

I can't run ms fix it. It needs sp3. The machine won't install sp3.

With the amount of problems you are suffering it may well be best to go for a full re-install and start afresh.
