Google redirect virus

Whenever I use google and I click one of the websites in the search results, I am redirected to a different page, which is usually an ad. It takes about 3 or 4 tries before I am able to get to the website that I want. Any help with this?

never mind, I have fixed the problem so need for help

but im glad a found this website, it has helped me learn about how to protect myself against this stuff next time
