networking problem

I am having problems networking a wireless laptop to our already exsisting network. we have a wirelass router and an adapter. two desktop computers are already connected but laptop will not connect to network. please help me.

Have you set up the wireless configuration in the router's config page? You would have to type something like whatever your router's config page address is. Then go into the wireless section and find out if encryption has been turned on already, maybe your router is not sending a signal out an you need to turn that on. You really did not give enough information to fully diagnose the problem. Please post some more information.
