I got Adobe Premiere and After Effects and tried to put it in my computer, but there was some error message that wouldn't let either of them work. It said something about.. that my computer didn't have what it took to run the program(s). What does it take? I have Windows XP, "HP Pavillion f1503." (Adobe Premiere and After Effects, as in the video editing programs.)

Hello Riah:

Could you please give us version information on Adobe Premiere and After Effects, is it part of Creative Suite Master Collection?

I'm not sure if it's part of the Creative Suite Master Collection.

I just know that it's Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and Adobe After Effects CS5.

Hello Riah:

As far my knowledge is concerned CS5 series is only and only supported by 64-bit OS. Most likely you are using 32-bit Windows XP. Hope this helps :)

What does 64-bit OS mean?

Also, does this mean that I'd have to buy a new computer? o_o

Hi Riah:

If your system (computer) is 32-bit (that's most likely) then I am afraid, you do have to buy a new one to work with any CS5 application
