Is that the same as what is presently installed on your system. \
Full version ok is it a OEM or a retail version.
Your system is a emachines so the OS was preinstalled and that makes a difference which OS and what version you try it with.
Again if this is a burned copy they rarely work right.

probably not. if i can't resolve my issue on another post that you helping me with i told my wife we might as well spend the money on a upgrade.

I take it with the other topic you formatted and installed the OS fresh and then other then the issue with the other topic this topic has been resolved?
