Hard time running anything. Most programs give this error or ask what program you want to use to open it. Can't run my avg, pc tuneup, or uniblue. Yesterday I got message saying my firewall was down but I don't know if my firewall going down caused the error or if the error caused my firewall to go down. I rebooted and none of my startup aplications ran. I was lucky to get on the internet and post this. Tried downloading fixes and can't seem to download anything either.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
