;)

my cd/dvd/burner driver no longer works properly...
it used to play and open dvds but of recently if i loaded a dvd into the drive (data or movie) it just does not read it states incorrect format if i try to view a movie or if i open the dvd cd manually (for data) there's nothin at all
...yet normal cds can be read and burned.
what i wanna know is what could have caused this and how do i solve this?
i scaned for viruses (none)
i did a system restore (no help)
and i can't find any other driver... :tazz:

DVD drives use two lasers. One for CD, and one for DVD. Sound as if one has failed. Optical drives are very prone to failure. I would guess you need a new one. :tazz:
