I recently took my 2009 Acer Aspire One windows XP to be repaired after a family member spilled water on it. It came back and 4 of the keys were not working properly (they are now). I then let the computer sit in a cupboard for almost a month. Now, I have to use it for work and the explorer.exe seems to be running slowly. There is not a lot on the computer. Microsoft office, some zip files, an empty itunes, and a photo managing service that I need for work. If I close 'My Computer' the explorer.exe literally shuts off for 15-60 seconds so that I have no desktop, only an image. Also, it has been freezing on startup, or takes about 5-10 minutes to startup. Any ideas? Thank you.
