First of all my personal programming experience:
I have learned HTML via web tutorials. I learned VB and Python in a first year computing science courses, so I know how to design and code basic algorithms.

Now my idea is this, It has to be possible to write a program that records timing and location of mouse clicks, and then reproduces them. Basically I want to write a program that can perform repetitive tasks for me... (not exactly an unconventional use for computing programs)

The problem is that nothing I have learned so far gives me a clue as to how to create a program that controlls a windows mouse pointer and mouse functions...

Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Runescape...?

Illegal Purposes...?

An autoclicker could be useful for many things, but I dont think any of it is illegal.

How about a program that automatically refreshes a website every 20 minutes to check for updates, and then automatically downloads the update without human presence, or maybe a program that plots graphs in windows paint by adding many points based on a formula. Maybe i want to pull a prank on my annoying younger brother by writing a program that randomly closes and opens programs...

Then again it might just be fun to see the mouse move by itself.

I know there are easier ways to achieve these results, but what if I could write a program thats versatile enough to do all of it.

Besides, I've already got it mostly figured out, my program can move the mouse in any aplication to any specified point, I just have to figure out the dwFlags bit flag used by the MouseInput function so I can trigger MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTDOWN and MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTUP.... I can do research too....
