I need some advise on how to go about it.
I have a laptop and I'm not sure if I have the OS Cd.
I might but I'm not sure.
Thanks in advance.

If you get into the recovery partition then just follow the prompts to format and reinstall your system. The drivers and everything should be there for your system just as they were when you first bought it. Any programs you have installed will need to be reinstalled. Is there anything else that I will need to do? And what will happen?
Should take about a hour maybe a hour and a halfHow long will it take?
This will depend on the virus as there are some that a simple format and reinstall will not get rif od. Are you saying you may have a infection? Will this remove any viruses and the such from my system as well?
Alright so, I did the reformat and everything is working great. The only thing that confuses me is, I have file called Electronic Arts and within the file is EA link and The Sims Life Stories. I do not own this game and I haven't installed any games yet. Any ideas?
