CPU benchmark says that Pentium Dual Core E6700 gets much higher score than Core 2 Duo E6700... But some people say that Core 2 Duo is better because it's newer and have more L2 cache. Could anyone tell me which one is better for gaming such as GTA 4 or CoD MW2? Thanks! :)

In 90% of cases for a gaming setup the graphics card has more of an impact than the processor.

Then they, and maybe you! :) need to do more homework.

As seen here, the Pentium Dual Core E6700 came out in Q2 of 2010, while the Core 2 Duo E6700 came out, as seen here, nearly 4 years earlier in Q3 of 2006!
