In need of help...lost my mic some how and scanner

My turn if I may.... already fixed the issue with p2socks_1015.dll from previous posts.... but after clearing te LovGate.a a few days ago it seem to drop into my sound card... got sound back but still no mic... can you pls look at this log and advise me of my next move pls....

Hi again Ron, nothing in your log jumps out at me. Have you updated your sound card driver, and any software?

Loaded back the drivers and got sound back, but still no joy with the mic...... getting a message .... An error occur during Directplay Voice setup. The error code is 0x80004001 and then from the sound device manager I get win cannot execute DpvSetup.exe, use ad remove.... but have already done twice.....

Hey Yarnorth, tried that but was already at full acceleration, what I have done now is removed the card from the drive and phyisically disconnected it, re installed....and so far seems to be back. Lets see for how long!! Tks guys for your help
