I have followed all of the helpful instructions for removing and preventing spyware/virus/malware infections. I continue to have a process running that I cannot remove and cannot delete. Ad-aware and Spybot SD both found and fixed several files and reg keys. I continue to have pop-ups. Here is the hijackthislog:

Hi smithj7 and welcome to GeeksToGo! My name is Excal and I will be helping you.

I can see that you have some malware issues. This will likely be a few step process in removing it. I encourage you to stick with it and follow my directions as closely as possible so as to avoid complicating the problem further

I noticed that your HiJackthis.exe is running from your unziped folder, make sure to save HijackThis in its own folder (i.e. C:\HJT). DO NOT run it from within a zip manager (Winzip), as no backups will be saved.

First, we need to remove the pepper trojan. Download this file, run, and let terminate (it'll just blink briefly on your screen and won't appeared to have done much--this is normal): http://www.geekstogo...=download&id=18

Download and install CleanUp! Here
do not run yet

Download CWShredder here to its own folder.

Update CWShredder

* Open CWShredder and click I AGREE
* Click Check For Update
* Close CWShredder
We will be using this program later.

Please read this post completely, it may make it easier for you if you copy and paste this post to a new text document or print it for reference later.
