What anti-virus and firewall are you using?
Have you tried to set the page to compatibility mode?
Do you have all Windows security updates downloaded and installed?

Before you do anything, check that your network cable is plugged in fully. I'v just spent 3 days pouring over forums, windows help files, Norton help files, Live support for Microsoft and Norton, only to find that my cable was broken! It was strange, as we have an old XP laptop working via the same modem (only wireless) which worked perfectly, but another laptop with Win 7, also wireless, was having exactly the same issues as the main PC. Still don't understand why a broken cable would affect one wireless PC and not another though. Please try the cable(s) before you give yourself unnecessary stress and maybe cost.
