I have a brand new Dell computer with Comcast cable internet. I have downloaded Ares Galaxy music file sharing program. The music just now started breaking up, programs take a second to open for some reason. It's like the computer has some kind of delay on it now. Please help.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty, then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
