went to blue screen with text then shut down

Hey,

I think I just downloaded a virus. My computer immdiately went to a blue screen with a bunch of text on it and then shut down. I have restarted the computer and it is now running really slow. Can you help me?

Update: I just tried to turn on the computer this morning and now all I'm getting is a black screen with a flashing line in the top left corner ofthe screen. Please help as soon as possible! Thanks, Brandon
