Hi there

The internet connection has just been upgraded at the place where I live. I live at a dormitory so we have one big internet connection that everyone uses. This of course means that we have got faster internet. But it has also meant that I can no longer use the program BabasChess (My link), which I use to play on the Free Internet Chess Server (My link), usually just called FICS.

I have understood that FICS uses the old TELNET to make a connection using port 5000. It is this port that I think has been block, when the internet connection was upgraded.

I have not really found a way out, so therefore I am asking if any of you might be able to help me. Your help would be sincerely appreciated!
