Hi,I usually leave windows live on so it starts when I start my computer but today I got this error "CANNOT SIGN INTO WINDOWS MESSENGER" with the error code 8000ffff.I am running windows xp-pro.Done a virus scan with AVG and superantispyware but came up clean.Not sure what other info may be helpful to you so I guess I'll leave it at that for now.Would sure appreciate any help you could give me.Cheers.

One possibility: Service Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant is disabled or set to Manual

If not, uninstall WLM then download and reinstall it.
