g'day everyone,

Compaq Presario 2570AI
WinXP SP1
256ram, 40g hd, 3.06GHz, Pentium 4
display adapter: RADEON IGP 345M
everything else that came standard with the AUS 2570
Broadband internet through LAN

I have been on the phone to microsoft, compaq/hp and ati, but no one can help me. in my display properties i have no tabs to choose from up the top (desktop, screen saver, settings, etc), when you go into display properties it shows only the themes screen (but not the tab that says themes). the things that i can think of that might have done it would be, i installed un updated ati display (from hp.com.au) driver and i installed advanced system optimizer. i have uninstalled and re-installed ASO many times. I have rolled back the drivers, uninstalled the driver then re-installed the original, but nothing. System restore doesnt work back to the date that it did work

Thank you for having the time to read this. Help would be greatly apreeciated.
