I'm not too sure how or why this error started popping:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

And I also have problem with the VAIO Care.Whenever I go on there, it wants me to restart the application.

It launches just fine, I can click some of the stuff fine on there, but when I click on System Information, the message pops up. When I click on Troubleshooting and then Software and Application, it does it again.

I am experiencing the same problem. I have downloaded the Microsoft Netframework and re-installed that. I have also downloaded the latest update on for the Viao Care Software and installed that. The problem persists. My computer knowledge does not extend far enough to trace a rectify the problem. I have attached a text file with the full error report. I would really appreciate it if someone who understands this error reprt could direct me in the right direction. Many thanks in advance. - John

Those errors don't typically represent a problem with your computer- it's likely a problem with the applications you're trying to run- in this care, VaioCare.

I don't like VaioCare and I wouldn't suggest using it. Click here to see how to turn it off.

Thanks for the response. I have two questions:

1. Why do you not like Sony Viao Care?

2. Any ideas on how to resolve the Net Framework issue? The error is now popping up more frequently when using other Microsoft programs such as Outlook and Word.

I don't want to have my VAIO Care disabled, and would like to have this issue fixed if it is possible.

I would like to ask that once you click continue, does it pop up again? For me, once I click Continue, it goes away, but the thing here is when I restart, it will pop up again. I find this annoying, plus VAIO Care doesn't work. Is it same for you?

My VAIO is a international model, and all the program were downloaded update.

Did you turn off its service?

Download Autoruns from here
  • Extract the contents of Autoruns.zip (by right clicking).
  • Double click autoruns.exe.
  • Press Esc until the program is ready.
  • Click Options at the top, then click Verify Image Signature.
  • Click File > Refresh.
  • Click File > Save and save the file as AutoRuns.txt.
  • Attach the AutoRuns.txt to your next reply.

Hi

I had the same problem with my computer and found your post above about it and gave up.

However, I have just had one of Microsofts security update for Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (This one: http://support.micro....com/kb/2538243) been update on my computer and Sony Care is working fine and just updated.

Hope that helps!
