These just started up recently. There are shadows on my font, graphics, or anything else on my monitor. However, they are very transparent but still easy to see. Since I do Computer Graphic art, this is messing me about because the shadows mess with my judgment of colors. For example, if I was to use red, and smaller darker red line would follow behind it. The shadows stick out to the right. What's wrong and can I fix it myself?

Sadly, you told us absolutely nothing about your system. Mac or Windows? Version of Windows? Notebook or PC? Brand and model? When did problem start?

I would start by trying another monitor to make sure it is a problem with the computer, and not your current monitor.
