i have screwed up my office computer(main PC).
first it had, windows XP professional which was upgraded from windows 2000.
last week it was the computer was not powering up.
So i put the hard-drives in a PC(secondary PC) that was working fine.
But then , XP would not get loaded because of hardware change.
So i used the OS recovery disk of the secondary PC to recover it.
Now XP gets loaded but it is asking for activation . Also network card and sound card is not getting detected. also outlook and word dont run.
i have found the recovery disk of the main PC, but i first need to uninstall the latest installation. there no option to uninstall in add/remove.
what do i do ?
should i use OS recovery for win2000 and then use the upgrade disk to upgrade to XP or should i directly use the upgrade disk.
Please help !!!!! its very urgent !!!!!
thanks in advance,
