Hello friends,

i changed the motherboard of my PC.
the earlier one had external network and sound card.
the new one has internal.
then i had to reinstall XP.
Now, XP does not detect the Network and sound card.
There are some "unknown devices" in the device manager.
How could i know the network drivers brand name so i could download the driver for it.

Please Help !!

Thank you,
zuber

Hi shaikh_zuber

Are you using the Network Card or the onboard Nic? Onboard should be listed in your manual, drivers should be included in the CD that comes with it.

If you are using the card, which manufature made it, check out their websites to find if there is a driver download for the OS that you are going to use. Same thing for the Sound card, if you still have the CD that came with, try that, if not, you will have to do a search on the Internet.
