I have a gateway NV series 55c model. the problem i am having is that my computer crashed and i cant get back on it. Its able to turn on and when it does it shows the startup repair screen. Id like to know how i can restore my computer to factory status and if theres any way i can recover any lost data that would be great too. If i could the information step by step thatdbe awesome thanks in advance

The NV55c Users Guide is here: NV55c Usrs Guide . The directions for doing a restore to Factory Settings will be listed there.

Usually you can get to it via the Start Menu / Programs / Gateway or by pressing a Fn key during boot as soon as you see the Gateway logo. The key is often F10, Ctrl+F10, F11, Ctrl+F11 but it can e something else. Each manufacturer is different.
