I am not sure if the is the correct venue for this question / topic. Having said that, I have a dell Inspiron 1520 that has this stupid button by the power button, it is for there media center. I bought this machine off ebay a while back, and 86'd Vista after verifying it would boot, and maxing out the ram. It has worked flawlessly, until I hit the media center button instead of the power button last night and it now it has a one track mind and will only boot to the media center start up.
I had this same issue about a year ago, and simply dumped the machine and reloaded it. It was still fairly shiny then and nothing was lost. Now it is a different story and I have some things on that I do not wish to loose if possible. I tried the win 7 disc I have tried to boot from that to no avail. It also can not repair the winconfig file I believe it called it. I am hoping that someone has encountered this previously and can help me out. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.
