I am trying to get my video files off my laptop which is a Vista operating system. When I go to transfer, copy, or burn them I get an error message stating the following:

Property Loss
File has properties that cannot be copied to the new location

Any ideas on how to correct this error. My computer was hit with a virus that has caused me to get my files off it and restore back to the original settings. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My computer was hit with a virus...

Then I would urge you to have one of our malware removal experts have a look. Please follow the instructions in our Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide.
